Andrew Shidoin is the Senior Instructor of the Brownhills Dojo of the Organisation. He also has the role of Grading Officer for both Junior & Senior Sections of the Organisation.
2012: Andrew receives his Shodan 1st Dan Black Belt with the Organisation, 12/12/12.
2017: By this time Andrew has qualified as a BSA Instructor and opens his own branch dojo.
2022: Andrew gains additional ratification & certification as 4th Dan Aikido with the authority of Honbu Dojo in Kyoto, Japan.
2024: Andrew received the official title of Shidoin, certified by the authority of Kyoto, Japan.
2024: Andrew attends Spring Camp, Markaryd, Sweden where is awarded the Samurai / Shogo title of “Renshi” from Johan Pettersson, the Dojo Cho with the authority of the Gake Ryu Organisation.
2025: Andrew successfully graded to 5th Dan Aikido in Solna, Sweden being certified by the authority of the (ITJR) International Taijutu / Jujutsu Renmei.
Shidoin continues to promote Aikido all around England and Scotland and also regularly travels and represents the Organisation overseas with strong connections in Sweden.

Grand Master James Muro 10th Dan from the USA stands with Andrew Shidoin.
Andrew Leighton Shidoin is dedicated to the Promotion & Success of Black Star Aikido.
Andrew Leighton Shidoin is a Certified and Insured Instructor with the BMABA, British Martial Arts & Boxing Association, U.K.
He is confirmed in rank of 5th Dan Aikido & 4th Dan Goshin Jitsu.
Andrew holds a current First Aid at Work qualification (FAW).
